Ooh...now I know Star Sports is for South Asia and China only. I thought all over the world can watch it. Yes, they are quite a few, but the picture quality is horrible unless Speed channel is showing the race. But Speed channel sometimes show the race and sometimes don't. I just don't know why.
Hey guys this year I missed the F1 but can you tell me who is the leader and who is on the 2nd place???
Wow.... you sure missed a lot of the actions this year. Here is the current driver standing: 01. Felipe Massa 48 02. Robert Kubica 46 03. Kimi Räikkönen 43 04. Lewis Hamilton 38 05. Nick Heidfeld 28 06. Heikki Kovalainen 20 07. Jarno Trulli 18 08. Mark Webber 18 09. Fernando Alonso 10 10. Nico Rosberg 8
Yeah, missed a lot, hope Lewis Hamilton loses. Sorry but F1 isn't racing, its just an engineering exercise.
Yeah but stay tune with ESPN for British GP since Star Sports will cover Men's final of Wimbledon 2008,
It sounds like there are a fair few people on this thread who dislike Lewis Hamilton, is there any particular reason?
Anyway, Friday practice about to get underway so lets see who makes the biggest impact. WOuld be nice for a good home result for Coultard with his retirement at the end of the season.
Because most of posters in this thread are Ferrari lovers so they love Ferrari lovers. Otherwise no perticular reason I guess.
Here's me thinking he came across poorly to non-brits. Has anyone checked out the live timings on f1.com? Just signed up and its pretty impressive. Glock has the current fastest lap time in the low 1:21's with team mate Truilli not far behind. Not many of the top drivers have been out yet with just under an hour remaining.
Just like Rohit said, because majority of people here are a big fan of Ferrari. But I must admit that although his driving is very good but sometimes he sound a bit arrogant. He is just a rookie but when he talk, it just like he already won a multiple times of driver championship. Never heard Kimi and Massa talk like that and not even Alonso. Practice is nothing compare to qualifying. How many time have we seen Torro Rosso and Force is India on the top of the chart during practice period this season?
Just a little update to say that Kovalainen, Hamilton and Raikkonen have all broke the 1 minute 19 barrier. Massa not done many laps yet. It interests me to see what kind of lap times to expect from the drivers as they seem to differ year to year with the chages in tracks, corners, rules and cars.
Yes practice is just for fun. We seen many times weak team goes top 5 but on second day they will at bottom place.
Well its Ferrari, McLaren, Mclaren, Ferrari at the minute so I guess the top teams are out to prove something!
Maybe another Ferrari 1-2 for the race. I hope Heikki Kovalainen is on the podium this week and not Hamilton.
Yeah if results came in that way then we have good position on leader board in both cat. But I think Hamilto will be in top 3 in Sunday Race.
Hoping for both Heikki and Lewis to be on the podium along with Coultard Looks like its been raining during practice too, 1 min 19's so what would be expected on a fry track? Hoping for a fun, eventful, wet race come Sunday.
Was it rain? If yes then Race would be a great to see and what a bad for me as Mens final of Wimbledon 2008 and Formula 1 almost same time.
Formula one all the way for me unless Andy Murray made the mens final (I can wish). Yeah rain on and off today and its predicted to carry on over the weekend. Also looks like Massa had a spin out in Practice 1 today.
