I had PM'ed him saying that I couldn't be at the computer any longer, but that I would go to $300. Didn't seem to matter though... but anyway, I look at it as one less headache for me to deal with... time to move on!

I made the other guy who had PM'ed me an offer post it to the forum post itself . . . your not special and I had a verified buyer at $300 who did make the post.

I am glad you PM'ed me, but show me where I said I would take your bid . . . . i said "sure thing . . . I will PM you after the auction is done" . . . not my fault you read into this as "SURE I TAKE YOUR BID, YOUR A WINNER!"

Stop being a sissy and crying about it . . .

Really? News to me. Well, I imagine a few people might, but his approval rating is more than twice what Bush's was, his disapproval is in the teens, a third or a forth of what Bush's was. Maybe you and the people that you associate with hate Obama, but overall the country and much of the world likes Obama, and I personally do not know anybody who HATES Obama. I never HATED Bush, although I certainly have very strong opinions of his Presidency. After all, Obama is OUR President, and Bush was OUR President.

This wasn't supposed to be a political thread, but you decided to slip in that people HATE Obama, which is absurd and I couldn't just let slip through.

You should get out more often. Many people *hate* Obama. The so-called 'approval rating' is a number pulled outta someones ass. It is common knowledge that these surveys can be EASILY skewed depending on the interest of the person who designed it.

And he's only been in office for 2? weeks. Wait a year & this sites' traffic will soar. As soon as everyone realizes he can't deliver.

    Regardless, this thread is hilarious.

If it is your decision to simply believe that all polling data is crap, that is your call, but they were sure as hell accurate last election. Even the Fox News poll shows 65% approval and 16% disapproval. Obviously his administration is young, but I think that refutes your point that many people already "HATE" him.

So you are hoping that the President will fail? Do you want the country to see 15% unemployment and an economic depression? What makes you so sure that "he can't deliver", is it that you have a differing political ideology and didn't support him, so there is no way that he could possibly succeed?

Where do you live (generally)? Obviously you are going to get different perspectives on the President depending on what part of the country you live in. People tend to associate with like-minded people, but you should be careful not to overgeneralize based on your closest peers. I live in a part of the country that went heavily for Obama (my county went 73.5% to 24%), but I am a reasonable person and understand that our country is not monolithic, but I refuse to subscribe to the notion that he is a largely hated figure in this country. After all, he won pretty decisively last November, and he has only become more popular since.
