    Never submitted there before...
What are the benefits of submitting an article?

Are you allowed to include links with anchor text within the article?

Is it better for traffic or SEO?

    etc.

    Thanks!

ezinearticles.com is the best article directory and one of the few which will actually bring you traffic. You can't have links in the body, only in the bio box. However, your article submission should start with this site and if there was only one article directory you could submit to, this would undoubtedly be it.

Is it wise to submit some of my best articles or should I save those for my site?

It is always better to place quality content to your site. There is no need to fill other site with content. :p

Hmm, perhaps I can rewrite them, but then I don't want to be in competition with my self by having the ezine article rank higher in search engines that my site.

I also had the question about duplicate content.

The way I weighed it up was yes, I might lose some pr leakage due to duplicate content, but if I get ten relevant people click through from ezinearticles a month, then it is probably a balance of risk worth taking.

This is the only site I have reproduced our articles though, and that is the way it will stay.

The easiest way to solve this as I said, is to just post it in you website.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you want traffic, Ezinarticles will bring it in. They are the biggest and the best.

I would suggest posting more of a teaser. Keep the good stuff for your own site. Make the readers want to click through to your site.

To me this is the whole point of the article (especially posting it onto another site)

Totally Agree, Although I use both articlemarketer and isnare. I will still take time to write a different version of the article and submit to ezinearticles manually.

Yup Ezine is a good resource to get traffic, but about your question:
Is it better for traffic or SEO? both are good to get traffic :) Like other get traffic ways..

    My 2 cents

You can use article marketing to drive targeted traffic to your website and also to boost search engine rankings.

It is a good way to get started in internet marketing if you don't want to or can't spend any money. See this thread to get an idea:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=581688

However, it is best used as part of a wider strategy.
