In your opinion which is best for article marketing and can build up backlinks for your website longterm. I heard that Hub pages allows links to your website withhin the article and ezinearticles only allows a link back to your site at the bottom of your article. I have also read where hub has banned members for over promotion in there articles.

why limit yourself to just one? use both. that way you can reap the benefits of both sites. yes, ezine only allows links(no affiliate links) in your resource box. and yes, HubPages does allow links in your article's body, but they may ban you for over promoting your offer, which is basically spamming.

IMHO, utilizing both is the way to go. i actually use more than this. i use article directories, hubpages, squidoo, blogger blogs, etc for pretty much all my promotions. that works the best or me.

I agree with Yukinari. No reason to just choose one method. Hubpages, Squidoo, GooglePages and article directories can all help build your backlinks in different ways and rumor has it that google like to see a variety of sites linking to you page.

isn't it time consuming to build the pages?
it took me 1 day to build a squidoo page, I had to think of 5 articles to write.

maybe in the beginning, but as you get used to it, you can churn out pages, lenses, articles, etc in minutes.

just hang in there. your writing skills will improve.:D
