I used Ezinearticles in the past before all the changes and stuff and I had pretty good results with them but now it seems that the article views has declined from what it used to be. I even tried the same categories as I used to submit my articles to to see if it might of been something on my end. Anyone else experiencing less article views then they used to a while ago? Is there a better article directory to use? I'm kindof confused as I am now just getting back into things.
I still use article directories to get back-links to my website but only if they are in the top 100,000 sites ranked by Alexa.
I think google is no longer recognizes real authority to what they call a content farm. Content has to be unique to the information and theme, and with many of these articles/hub sites its become a mecca for content farming.
In my experience it takes ezinarticles.com about 5-7 days to approve an article. The last one I submitted it took 5 days. I didn't submit to ezinearticles.com in a while and noticed they now too follow the "nofollow" era, at least when it comes to links in the body of an article. Articlebase.com was the first site I used to submit to, where I noticed they tagged the links with the nofollow tag. Now ezinearticles.com does the same crap. At least ezinearticles.com leaves the links in resource box alone. Articlebase tagged all links nofollow, no matter if in the body or the article or in the resource box. Looks to me like there goes another SEO method of trying to get quality backlinks down the river. Does anybody have any experience with thefreelibrary.com and how long it takes to get an article approved or denied with them?
Never heard of thefreelibrary, thanks for bringing that up by the way. I will check that out. As for Ezine articles, figured they have reached critical saturation.
Although it seems that EZA is going down day by day, it is still the best article directory site. I have tried many article submission services, but I just find EZA can help us gain as much as traffic.
Mmmm, I have a few affiliates that make comission from hubpages and Ezine. They don't make a lot, since they don't send a lot of traffic but still it shows that the websites in question are still functioning as they should.
