I have 20 articles on ezinearticles. I only have 280 clicks on my urls. Is that good or bad? Is anybody making decent money submitting articles? My definition of decent money is 4 to 5k per month. If so, how many articles do you have?
Depends how long the 20 articles have been live, if it has only been a few weeks that's fine, but if it has been many months that is not so great.
keep in mind that ezine articles is not a distributor. They don't send their articles out to other article syndication sites. It's wise to use more than one source when you are submitting articles. Try isnare.com and others like it.
you have to do research on niche topics... when i used to create Adsense based sites all i would create were financial based sites because financial based topics pay... (they pay very well) you should try to create some financial based articles and see if there is a difference in income that is generate... when i used to have my adsense based sites i actually used to use the linked content from the articles on the ezines site... which also generates an idea for you... start a blog and supply it with your content that you generated for the ezines site that way when people visit your blog and check out your content they have a linnk to you ezines article site... just an idea..
Ezine articles is definately not dead, you just have to learn how to target your articles so that people are more likely to read them and click on them
Not dead at all. I recently was surprised there - as I had submitted a few articles just for grins, and they all got a very average amount of views and clicks, with the exception of one, which received thousands and thousands of views resulting in nearly 1000 clicks to the site it was pointing at in about a month's time. Let's just say that I haven't lost faith in them by any stretch of the imagination!
Most of my sales come from articles there. I wish not because I prefer to diversify. But the traffic is too good!! I have 700 articles there.
Yep if you know how to use it than it can be powerful but if you don't know how to use it than it is a waste of your time. Just like many other marketing tactics its all about optimizing and learning how to make it powerful.
Ezine articles brings me the most traffic of all the article directories online and by a long way. They are by no means dead.
I get a lot of traffic through Ezine Articles & Go Articles both. Maybe you should try Go Articles as well; you may have better luck with it.
Just 20 articles? You need to post more. In article marketing, quantity is the key. You will feel it working by the time you have submitted your 100th article. Yes, that many. But, the thing here is, those 100 articles will work for you over and over and over.
20 Articles is nowhere near success. I have around 2000 articles published in Ezine and Squidoo, some of them are in Hubpages as well. Most of my sales are from Ezine and Squidoo. You need to publish frequently at least 200 - 300 articles in order to get things going. Assuming you can hire some one to review your products, it will cost you somewhere around 2000$ not much considering what sales you can generate.
