The people who write for Ezinearticles give you a license to republish their work if, and only if, you follow the ToS of the site. If you don't follow the ToS (change or delete the Resource box, don't source the article etc.), you don't have a license to reprint the article and it's copyright infringement.

What could happen? Your site could be taken down and your Adsense account could be banned to start.

The articles are provided completely free for your site as long as you follow a few rules, it seems quite cheap and petty to not give the article authors credit with a link.

I see, so you are stealing other people's work and pretending it's your own. Yes, your account could be closed. You could be sued for copyright infringement if people wanted to go to the trouble of doing that. Your web site (which I assume you are linking in the resource box) makes you findable and your site itself could be taken down.

If you don't want to write your own articles , why not just hire someone to write them for you? You could buy one article, then just rewrite it into multiple versions - which you know how to do, since you are selling article rewriting services here on DP.

Unlikely you'd be put in jail, but as soon as it's discovered people will probably work to get you banned from whatever they can.

But here's my question: Why would you want to be such a dirtbag? Don't you have any self-respect? Do you honestly believe that you are so useless and devoid of talent that the best thing you can do with your time is rip off other people's work for pennies? That must be a really lousy feeling.

    Copyright is a big deal.

    Think about this...

I have over a thousand articles on ezine that I personally wrote and submitted. I did those articles to generate links to my site and to have people click on the links in my resource box.

You come along and take the articles and you do not credit my site nor ezine.

I did all this hard work to make a living (I am a full time internet marketer) and you steal from me?

I catch you doing that, I'll find out where you live and have the authorities deal with you as harshly as possible. I don't care what country you are in or if it costs me 10,000.00, I'll make sure that you get what is coming to you.

Yeah, copyright is a big deal.

If I didn't make myself clear, please let me know and I'll elaborate.

    Jackhole.

Maybe you won't go to jail, but karma will come back to haunt you. More than likely you'll have articles printed on blogs about your sites and how you're so cheap that you rip off other people's work. You'll receive a ton of bad press. Maybe some moral hackers will target your site.

Who knows what will happen. But it sucks what your thinking. Don't go there!!! Write your own articles and stand on your own two feet :)

People that undertake in practices like this really offend me. I put a lot of effort into the articles i write and to have someone take them and put them under their own name is very disrespectful and offensive. However due to advancements in technology to catch people whom steal published work, you would likely be caught.

It's not that expensive to have quality articles written for you, at the very least a good rewriter can take content from several places and turn it into a unique article.
