http://www.ezinearticles.com/?A-Guide-To-Business-Insurance&id=617280 I looked over the source code and all are from the same pub id. How come this is possible? Would this get them banned?
I never seen this before, actually when I added by mistake 4 ad units to a page, the 4th was showing always blank
Same here, wondering now how they managed to do that. The question concerns me more is whether they will get banned or not. But they should be a very savvy Adsenser, shouldn't they. Weird.
Strange, I checked another article on the site and it's showing the 3 ad blocks as normal. Something I did see in the source code though which may explain it is CPA. It had CPA in the between the html comment tags in between one of the scripts code of an Adsense ad, so I guess Ezinearticles may be a tester for their PPA beta program.
Premium publisher or not, I don't think they should be allowed to have 3 ad blocks on a page as you always get people that don't read TOS and then start doing it theirselves and they then get banned and say, "well thing is doing it so why have they not got banned".
Some premium publishers have mega ad boxes. www.moneycontrol.com has 13 ads in one single ad unit (the left side skyscraper). . Refresh if all 13 don't appear the first time.
They are definately a premium publisher (at least they have the traffic to be), however, I don't think evn premium publishers are allowed to have more than 3 ad blocks.
Sachin410, I tried refreshing it for 3 times and it kept showing the same CPM ad, which normally just shows one. I just left it then. I don't think that is fare for advertisers actually that a CPM gets shown unlimited times to the same visitor because that will lower their CTR considerably.
i'm shocked. it may be a premium publisher but i'm not that google allows them to use 5 ads on a page
Alexa ranking Traffic Rank for ezinearticles.com: 536 It's a premium publisher. They have a personal adsense rep, which they can decide how many ads to show on pages, and even their payout %. When/If a regular publisher has more then 3 ad units on a page, they start not showing up.
Ok, and a premium publishes can have more then 3 ad units? it isn't fair. If this isn't violating google's TOS i'm a pope.
