yeah, I'm interested in hearing an update as well... I have been thinking about doing something similar.

Well, it appears that the reason he wasn’t here before getting banned, he had been participating in election campaigning. I suspect he got banned for some comments he made regarding the whole election situation in another section of this forum.

 

Howdy - I'm back.

This is the state of my experiment: 6 completed "landing pages" (really just blog pages) and a total of 20 articles pointing towards those landing pages online at EZineArticles.com - I have 8 more articles waiting to be accepted now.

The results thus far: 7 sales & 1 refund for a net of 6 sales. As an affiliate I earn $31 for each sale so that's $186 earned as an affiliate thus far.

I'm not overly pleased with the results, but they could be worse - and I've really not done a very good job of sticking with this as I've been do distracted by other projects and by other things. I'm going to try to ramp it up now and get a lot more articles up so I can really give it a full shot.

terryd - it's been a mixture of factors, here's some of them:

1. I was following the Presidential election very closely and that took over the majority of my energy. I ran a website on the election that I was updating a lot. I was also volunteering for the Obama campaign, doing door to door canvassing and phone banking.

2. I became distracted by other internet marketing projects, specifically I got a lot more into working on my EBay/BANS projects and sort of left this project to fester but I'm trying to get back into it now.

3. I moved from NYC to Virginia.

4. I went on a vacation or two.

5. And most recently I've been banned over the last few weeks because of an "altercation" in the politics section of this wonderful forum. I plan on staying out of there now as it's a waste of time and ... well I'll leave it at that

Wow Zublu, Just came across your thread...I know I'm late lol.. but this is very educational for those who do not yet understand how to make money..

and it also shows that with motivation and work..sales will show up as well!

There seems to be quite low traffic from Ezine articles these and no really converting anything. I`ve submitted just about the same number of articles you`re tarketing right now, well for a different product.

Results aren`t as I`ve expected..
