Today I created three articles for ezine, the articles are quite good , so I want to put them in my website blog (I have one blog in blogspot also). I wanted to know if I put those articles in my website blog, will that hurt my website.
If it is not good, then if I can put it in my blogspot blog

Regardless of the quality of the articles, they will not hurt your website or your blogspot blog if you post them. Google is not particularly fond of duplicate content but it will not do your sites any harm unless they are full of duplicate content and have no unique content whatsoever.

If you don't believe me, read the T&C of ezinearticles, they allow people to post up to 20 articles (per site) on their sites. I am sure in the world wide web, you would not be the first to do so.

If you are in the business for the long run, you could post a very good article on your website, then post a few lower quality articles (talking about topics related to the article on your site) on ezinearticles, then link to your website from the articles. This will help make your website rank better and people who are interested in the topic may come to recognize your website as an authority site for a particular niche.

You should just create new and unique content or hire someone really good to do so (its a lot cheaper then you think to find great content writers). Ultimately in the long run this would seem best for business. Writing can always become new and better and keeping it fresh always should go a long way to meeting goals. Plus if you make contacts early in the content industry you will be ahead of the curve if you need to go for some gusto.

Google might not mind, but if ezine finds that your content is duplicated they can suspend/bad your account.

if you are interested in using the same artciles on your blog, then post them on your blog FIRT, wait for google to index those articles, and THEN submit to EZA. when submitting to EZA, make sure your blog admin name and EZA author name are the same or they wont accept it. this way google knows that you are are original content owner and you will be safe from duplicate content issue. if a 3rd party site posts your content, thats fine but if you use duplicate content from other sites, you risk penalty so use the article on your site first

    @sultanofseo

Thanks bro, actually I submitted the artricle in ezine first and then in mu blog, since ezine would take some time to review my article and then publish, if it means that google will index my blog first.

I think eza will not accept article already posted on some other place. better get the article live on eza and then put it on the blog one can also put the article through eza so the article will get back link and have more change to be viewed in search.

Ezine will not permit articles that are not unique. What you can do is first put your article on ezine and after it is approved you can put it on your blog.
What I always do is spin my articles so I have almost the same content but in other words and this will always be seen as unique content.

That will be duplicate content. And it will hurt your listings in Search Engines :)

    Actually, according www(.)vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/google-ranking-factors(.)htm

Factor #61 says this: Duplicate Content - OK = No Penalty " Google advises against this.
Google picks one (usually the oldest), and shoves it to the top, and pushes the second choice down. This has been a big issue with stolen content - the thief usurps your former position with YOUR OWN content. "

No matter where you post it in second place, it would be duplicated content.

Now you have already submited them to ezine, I recommend you to post them in your blogspot blog if you want to add links to your site by the way.

I would only submit to ezinearticles posts that reach the mininum level to be published somewhere but not good enough to be in my site.

Ezine is very strict when it comes to article submission. They will not approve it if they sees to it that it has a duplicate content. I suggest that in your blog site make just 1-200 word that can be the summary which is unique and then do again an article which is 1-350 words which is to send to Ezine.

I recommend not doing it. I recommend taking the same article and change it up a little bit to make it so its not a duplicate article.

Sometimes I do it but I never do it with all the articles I write. Just a few every couple months.

thats fine as long as your own blog article gets indexed first

that is NOT true. EZA will accept articles posted on other sites as long as the author name is the same.

    see above.

you cannot get penalized for duplicate content posted on other sites. once you have the article posted on your own site, you are the oroginal content owner. then you can distribute it to the whole world and your own blog will not get penalized. worse case, google will deindex some of the articles from 3rd party article sites but your own blog will not face the penalty.

think about it.... say you are my competitor and i want to crush you. i copy your blog article and distribute it to 1000 article sites. google will find lots of duplicate content around so does it mean they will penalize you? no way. if it was that easy, then lot of evil competitors would crush their competition by submitting copied articles
