Does anyone here author their own EZINE Articles? How long does it take to see the traffic from these articles?

Do you mean we own our own ezine or do we publish articles on the web?

I have written a few that have been published on several hundred article distribution sites. Usually, I begin getting traffic within a day or two of publication and it continues to grow for a while. Then it levels off for several months and slowly declines.

    HTH

An ezine is an electonic magazine and will contain multiple articles and be presented possibly with ads, etc

An article is well....an article. A piece of content that can be used many ways.

Calling them ezine articles is really wrong in every sense. Doing so implies they are for ezines only. But, whatever :D

I agree with traffic potentially coming quickly. Writing articles is a great way to market one's business.

We release 6-10 articles on a monthly basis on our professional/educational journal type "ezine." Since our aim isn't 100% commercial, we've been able to get professionals in our field to write articles for us. We used to have to write most of them though...traffic has increased every month for about 23 months, we're almost up to 10,000 visits/month but we're in a very small niche. We have over 250 articles on the site and i have them well organized and they're all indexed...despite all that content, much older (but less quality) sites are still above me in the SERPS for a few of my big terms. However, I've got the market cornered for smaller less competitive terms. Lots of dynamic database-driven content has been good for us.
What are you thinking about doing?
