Ezine articles

    Hi

I have submitted some articles to Ezine, and some seem to get a lot more views than others.

3 articles have 50+ views but 2 articles have only 10 or 20 in the first few days and now seem to not get any new views.

Btw. the two last articles were in the 'get your ex back' niche. So is this simply because that niche is so saturated or what?

How many views is a good number for the average ezine article, and how can I improve views?

    Thanks!

    It depends on your niche.

Conduct proper keywords research. Ensure the keyword that you target to optimize is not too competitive and has reasonable search volume.

By doing proper keyword research you will get the best results.Article marketing is a long term strategy, so it will take several months to see decent results.Other publishers often visit Ezinearticles.com to search for content to their own sites.Your inbound links will increase as well over time.

Ok guys.. so what I can understand you are saying is that the keywords I selected for the articles with few views were too competetive?

I am not using them to get backlinks but too link directly to clickbank.

The problem is, both articles had almost 50% ctr, but that is no good when they dont get anymore views.

So next time I must use longer keywords for a competetive niche right?

My experience with ezine articles is that you have an initial spike in traffic, then it trickles off after a few days.

Always use unique titles which will always get good traffic in Ezine.

This almost begs to ask the question:

If the traffic slows down fast, probably the best idea is to get a review type landing page instead of redirecting directly to clickbank, that way over time backlinks will grow and the site will maybe get good traffic from google.

But will google count all article links or only one pr. domain? And does anyone have an example of a good landing page?

I am a newbie so I really appreciate help!

It's not a robot, it all depends. Some people just might not be interested. You need to do deep research in to your niche.

So far I have found my Ezine submissions to be a long term gain for my site....nothing fast about it at all.

If you go to ezinearticles.com/forum you'll find that to be a great way forum for your answers, also.

Visit the section called: Article Writing Tips & Author Questions found at the beginning for tips on improving your chances of being seen more often.

    I hope this helps!

Experiment with your resource box too. Try telling your readers how they can benefit by clicking on your link. Use your article and resource box both as a way to speak directly toward your readers.

Research is key. Knowing what the people are looking for and what keywords to include are two very important things to keep in mind. I too experience the benefits of these articles over the long term.

Its kinda weird I submitted to almost identical articles in the same nice with very similar headlines on two different accounts. One got 210 views on the other only 11 so far! Does it matter what accout you are submitting two, is there some kind of ranking system in Ezine?

I do 10-20 articles a day there (depending on whether or not I have some outsourced).

I learned VERY quickly that it is all about your keyword research. In addition you should throw 2-4 backlinks at each article and submit to a couple of social bookmarking sites, this works wonders as far as keeping them on page 1 of Google for long periods of time.
