I submitted some articles to enzine articles a few days ago and they are still pending., There seems to be nothing wrong with the articles so what is the hold up. Is it because the bars are not full that are by my article or something else

It normally takes 7 days until they clear. They will let you know if theres a problem with one of them.

I think writing one article per week is a rational idea.

Ezine generally took a week to approve artile.Meanwhile you can check your article status in Ezine by login in author’s area. It will show you your article status like waiting for approval, declined etc.
In case of declined article they will mention the reason, send you a mail regarding the issue and also ask you for clarification. So no need to worry, have patience.:)

It will take about 7 days or more for free member. Do not worry about it.

I noticed they have been slower than ususal this week...maybe they are backed up or some editors quit or something. I never waited more than 7 days though

I think I waited anywhere between 6 to 10 days, depending on what time of year it is. 10 was when I submitted an article day or two before Christmas :)

i got my first article live within 4 days of submitting. when i tried my second turn as your case i did not get any response from EA for more than 8 days, but on 9th day i got a email from EA stating that my article was not approved due to some grammatical errors.

lol just read the article i submitted once again with my eyes wide open its only two minor vocabulary errors. after making enough corrections again submitted it and got it live within 5 days.

cases differs so wait for sometime.

A while ago they were taking like 2 weeks to approve, over the summer it dropped to 3-4 days, now it seems to be about a week. I think it just depends on volume of articles as they are probably not hiring and laying off editors on a regular basis. Just be patient.

I too was very impatient with ezine as they do have fluctuations in how long it takes to get approval. Also they have denied me in the past for simply not following their requirements- too much use of keywords, too commercial. Once I followed the rules, spell checked and checked the grammar I was fine. I have been using them now over two years and while many others don't do as thorough a job as ezine, I use them exclusively.

What level are you? I'm platinum and my articles are usually approved with 48 hours during the week.

You may have quality issues. They seem to take their time on poor quality articles and later just reject them.

    Quality is King!

Once you get a 10 or so articles approved and become a "platinum" writer, your articles will be approved much faster. Mine are usually approved within 2-3 days.

Only takes about 48 hours when you reach their top publisher status.
