Ezine articles- when to expect sales?

    Hi guys

I'm sorry to bother you guys, but with your experience in this matter would help an unexperienced person like me.

Well I have submitted 50 articles on one product to ezine articles. My question is when should I expect sales if any? Does Ezines traffic boost ever give sales? or all the sales come from Google traffic to the articles?

    thanx

Are they accepted? Anyway, you can expect traffic from Ezine itself "Feeds, newsletter, etc.." and from Google. 50 unique articles will be enough to get sales, if you didn't get any so you should improve the landing page or try other niches.

You may get a sale or two..
But you can't rely solely on the ezine traffic, You'd have to promote your articles around etc.. to maximize the traffic.

It always depends and you can view this from different angles..

Having over 5000 articles back at ezinearticles.com I can well point out some of the things that I've noticed.
Some articles will get ranked without even promoting them and some will never get any traffic even if you promote them via social bookmarking sites, paid links etc..

The sad part is that most articles will only give you some link juice to your main landing page / make a sale or two and then die off. Often times some articles tend to be ever green and they send traffic continuously. I've found one article lately with over 500,000 views only in the past two years ..

Don't expect hundreds of sales off the ezine articles alone. You need to spread your content across several website in order to maximize your profits. If you've noticed the top authors are not there for the money but they're to make their products/services more popular/gain affiliates and so on..

I remember one of my article campaings that has been a total failure. I did that campaign solely to test the ezinearticles.com traffic. Over 200 articles submitted without one single sale.. now that a big "OUCH" because all that content costs approximately $1000. :)

Furthermore I found out that the niche I was testing back then isn't that profitable either. I would have been lucky to have a sale in 1000 hops anyway.

Diversify your marketing strategies and take affiliate marketing from all possible angles you never know what would work best for you. It may be articles marketing, ppc, ezine ads, sponsored ads, communities, answer websites, video marketing, word of mouth, forum marketing off-line promoting and so on..

There are thousands of ways to promote an affiliate website -- the sad part is that it does take time to succeed however it PAYS off at a certain level. Earning online does give you feeling of freedom ..

Thanks for the advise guys. greatly appreciated

Well only ten have been published, the other articles should follow this week hopefully..
the reason behind this question is to determine what time frame I should expect sales in?
So after 2 weeks no sales from would it be a great idea to cut this product?
I don't want to end up submitting hundreds of articles and get f%^& all sales thats just insanity.

I will start promoting all the articles after they are published to maximize there effect.

    Thanx

Thanx for the advice i just want to master the art of article marketing at the moment. I don't expect hundreds of sales just a few would be great but have been disappointed in the past but the key to internet marketing is determination and learning the right way.

my intentions are to get rich or die trying i only one life so i think this is a great field to focus on. not scared of hard work. rather waste my time working for myself than being a slave to society

just looking for a daily routine that will give me a long term income
well hopefully I get some luck

It all depends on your niche, article writing style and landing page. Mine 50 article approved yesterday on Ezine but still not sale. Just changed my landing page, hope it gonna work now. Today no activity from Ezine article team, not even a single article approved yet.

well not sure what my article writing style is but i just give a few hints and tips and tell them these tips can help but i even had problem using these tips they are not enough so until i got (this product) in my life i had no success without this product. basically the product is a secret and they have to click through to find out what they have been missing all their life. what style is that?

but in future i would like to capture email if the products worth it and give them a ethical bribe to get it so i get to expose it more. everyone wants free stuff.

ezine articles is such a bitch when i become more wise on keywords and targeting i will never use them again. I just use a few accounts now to help things to speed up but the one account i ask them to review my articles after 20 days then 1 out of ten were approved.

the reason for rejection was your url is invalided (i tested it myself) resubmitted them i got a general error please contact ezine articles.. i contacted them they say my url is invalided after 2 weeks of waiting for a reply.

got the articles approved after 3weeks with no changes so I guess they just respect users that pay them.

Giving up isn't the answer anyway..

There is always space for everyone and one of my next BIG steps is to become a vendor of some profitable products. Well at least one or two for a start..

Being a vendor is not necessarily easier but it can be at some point :)

If there is no result from 50 articles, then better leave it and try other niche.

You can submit 1,000 articles but if you havnt targeted good keywords, wrote the content well and have a good presale page youll jsut loose the traffic you get (well... most)

    sooooo:
    Do your keyword research
Write informative articles with a solid, strong call to action
i like to write 500 word articles since i target 3-4 keywords but as little as 250 is fine
Dont expect sales as soon as your article is accepted, it needs time to rank...

and thats all i have but im only n00b at clickbank at $250 in my first month of trying, my specialty is usually site building and link selling.

I think you need to find keywords that you can rank number 1 for or at least in the top ten for with nice monthly search the higher the better. I look for what competitors on on the top of the results page for the keyword i am targeting and if its a article or hubpages or anything that you can beat on the top go for it.

I should rank number one with my article if I have better back links than the other article or hub page or whatever sometimes there are high pr sites that cannot be beaten so choosing the best keywords are essential.

you will get most of the search traffic if you on the top spot for the term so try that. I'm working on it still but i'm getting there. hope that helps

well anyone please correct me if i am wrong.

The no. of views your articles receives,a fraction of it always comes Ezinearticles own traffic(It's regular reader base,RSS syndication etc). You get Google traffic only if your article is listed in the search rankings.
Writing 10-15 articles is sufficient to test the convertibility of any product. If you don't generate any sale from that then move over to other products.

I tried article marketing before.. but Im not directly promoting landing page / affiliate product.. Im promoting my blog & capture their email first.. peoples who reading article is mostly only lookiing for information not to buy unless you make article review about the product..

    just my 2 cent ;)

I would take all your articles and post them on web 2.0 properties as well. Screw the duplicate content myth/idea. Just get out there and do it.
