HI, I have an article on this site.. ezinearticles.com With a keyword as target.. Some other ezine article is Coming on the 3rd rank on google.com I want to beat this article and want my article to replace its place.. What should I do for this???
Research why the article got the position it did. Check for any specific page links to the article and also look to see if got some sort of feature on ezine, it may have gotten more internal links pointing to it than normal. Also make sure to check the anchor text in the links pointing to that page. Once you've got all the information create an article, make the title almost exactly the same as the other or make it even more targeted. Then replicate their link pattern or something similar.
Try getting some extra links to your article. You can add social bookmark links, blog comment links, forum signature links, etc.
I think you can first of all check: 1. When did the other articles published? 2. The number of backlinks to the articles 3. The keyword density of the articles (since your article is already published, you may want to submit another one if you think you can further optimize the keyword density)
