Has anyone else had problems with Ezine articles? I have only had a few of my articles accepted. About a month ago they rejected one of my articles and today they finally got back to me with why Saying this article http://kustomsandchoppersmagazine.com/2011/07/12/kustom-syndrome-is-spreading/ containd defamatory, insulting, obscene, or degrading language in reference to any particular product, company, individual or group and that I am offending a specific group? Yet what group am I offending? The article is about Hot Rodding and Hot Rodders have been calling there need to customize things a Fever, a sickness, a bug or a Syndrome since the 50s! Also with my other article they said it was advertising because I used the word NMCA (national muscle car association). I also don't get why it takes them almost a month and a half to respond to messages as well. This is just beyond ridiculous! Anyone else having these problems.
Read the article and it was good. They have some odd editors over there. I have had trouble with alot of my stuff. You could resubmit it, I know on some occasions I have simply resubmitted because the original editor seemed completely out of touch. I usually alter the first paragraph a bit in case. I posted a question about who they use as editors on another forum and it was deleted...still wondering. they might not be native english speakers. You might change syndrome...they might employ overly sensitive editors.....I know its fine but it does not matter when your dealing with people who you cannot debate. Fever might work better for them.
I resubmitted it and changed it to Kustom Fever, hopefully it will work. I hate how it takes them over a month to get back to you.
They use a lot of scripts to 'check quality'. Unfortunately, these scripts aren't very good, and kick up a lot of false positives.Â
Ya, as with anything that is put on an automated scale it is really hard to ensure everything is correct when relying on scripts to verify quality of work.
They must really not be, they got back to me and they say the terms "Big Block" ( a type of engine), "White Wall" (tires) and "Chop it" (meaning chopping the roof) are offensive to certain groups of people.
Ezine Article is one of the reputable sites whose links have any value at all. That is why they are specially choosy about which articles should be included or not.
They werent this choosy a year ago. Trying to say that my article about cars will offend people? How does that make any sense. Also because I used the work NMCA once its considered advertising? Yet my article is about the NMCA!
Ezine seems reject many article recently after slapped by google panda My previous acceptance rate is 100% but now drop to 80% you can't actually do anything on it
Ezine hardly rank well at Google anymore. The quality is getting lower. Soon Ezine will face out. Now, articles directories don't seems to work well anymore.
