About 4-5 posts on my blog http://theguitarresource.com/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=2 are from ezine articles. I used them on nights i didn't have time to post. I have about 30 posts in all. Will this kill my seo? I know i have gotten visitors from google based on search terms in those articles. But will it lower my site as a whole? thanks!

i think article marketing is useful, but i think you may want to be careful how many articles you submit.

afterall ezinearticles like the other article directories is one website with one ip address

try link baiting to get links more naturally from lots of websites with all unique ip addresses

I don't think this will hurt your SERP as well.

Try to have as much unique content as possible :)

If they are considered "duplicate" content google will just exclude those pages from their index, but it does not penalize the whole site.

I have an article directory that is made up of entirely duplicate content and it is mostly indexed by Google. I don't rank very well, but I don't promote it either.

yah, it will simply be considered as duplicate content. Might be good for drawing visitors, but think shld not affect your SEO badly

I agree with what most of the others have said. Using the free use articles on your site will cause those particular pages to be put into supplemental results by Google. However if the articles are useful for your visitors then they will still help your site. Just be careful to have a good balance with most of your pages being unique.

article mktgin wont effect your serp as we all submit the same article to several ezines. As a result there is duplicate content and backlinks are not counted from all the sites.

May be these pages will drop from the results lately, because of the duplicate content. But it won't hurt your SEO for the blog.
