I am trying to promote our company and generate new subscribers to our mailing list and am looking at ezine marketing. Has anyone had any success with them? Also is it better to submit articles or place ads? Any suggestions of where to find outdoor/fishing/hunting niche related ezines? I am really new to internet marketing and ideas/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I've had tremendous success with ezine ads in the past, but I no longer advertise because I don't need to. Ezine ads work, if you know how to write an effective ad. However, to get the maximum exposure out of ezines, do solo ads. Regarding your question, "Is it better to to submit articles or place ads?" I'm a huge proponent of article marketing, so my answer would be submit articles. You may want to also think about putting that same info you give to subscribers and putting it on your homepage for everyone to see. Why limit yourself like that? Yes. Do both. Duh. Do the keywords searches. It takes time, so go grab a cup of coffee and do the legwork.
Ezine ads work, so long as they are targetted and you can often pick up a bargain or offer some kind of exchange to avoid it costing you anything out of pocket. To find ezines in your niche do a search for ezine directories and browse through what they have to offer.
