I know im probably shooting in the dark here... but if some one could offer me some advice on this matter, i would appreciate it:

Ezinearticles.com has a stupid word length limit for anchor text of 3 words max per link. I am trying to link build for one of my websites, and the keyword i am targetting is a long tailed keyword, in this case, 4 words long. The whole purpose of posting on ezinearticles is to be able to get a strong relevant backlink, and since one of the criteria to get a good backlink is to have the anchor text as the keyword youre trying to target - what should I do in this situation:confused:

    any advice:confused:

what about putting a dash in between 2 words, this might pass the ezinearticles word length limit, but will this link with a dash in between 2 words be counted much differently than the keyword without the dash:confused:

I publish some articles on ezinearticles.com, and that is not a strict limit. You can get away with 4 word phrases especially if one of them is "and", "the", "of", etc. type words.

they rejected my article due to the word length in my anchor text (it was 4 words long, and one of them is a city name that is 2 words (ex: New York) - so thats even stupider that theyre rejecting it), thats why i posted this.

Use NY instead of New York in your link text... Even if you're targeting "New York Hotel Accomodations", using "NY Hotel Accomodations" will still help you rank for your targeted keyword phrase... It may not be quite as good but it's almost as good as having "New York". Then use New York and NY interchangeably throughout the article.
