Just wondering if anyone has ran into this probem w/ EZineArticles.com -

I submitted my last article and it is currently in review. However, if I try to submit another article, I get this msg:

You have run out of article submissions.

Your account will be reviewed for an upgrade when all currently submitted articles are reviewed by our editorial staff.

Just wondering how long they take in order for you to go on submitting other articles.

You are only given 10 slots when you signup. Once all of them are up you will get more slots.

I second this guy. You get 10 slots when you sign up for EZA. You then upgrade which takes about a week. You will then be able to submit articles again. This is really nothing you should worry about...

Does EZA charge you for submitting more articles? I barely use EZA.

no charge. If you are going to do article marketing, you want to use Ezine as google respects it. they will upgrade you pretty quickly

Once you submit the initial 10 articles they upgrade your account to Premium and then as I found out after outsourcing 10 articles they drop your account back to basic if they find they have been copied. I checked my articles and only 3 words (NOT Keywords!) in 3 articles were the same as the article they claimed it was copied from.

I have been submitting my own written work for the past 4 months and gotten to 187 articles so I ran out of time and topics. It works fantastically well for me, I am #1 for 5 keywords with over 2 million search results using EZA.

basic account gives you 10 submissions. once you are done with 10 articles, you need to apply for upgraded status which is either basic plus or platinum. depending on your article quality and what you write on your application for upgrade, you might get basic plus or platinum status. if platinum, then all the best as that comes with unlimited submissions. but if basic plus, then means you get to submit 25 more articles and ask for upgrade again

    Unfortunately not.

"Premium" is a voluntary, paid-for membership which costs about $100 per month or about $200 for 3 months and gets you very fast reviews and publication (but that's all it gets you).

They upgrade your account to "Platinum" after 10 articles if you've submitted 10 that comply fully with their editorial policies, without "derivative content" and without links to "inadequately informative sites" (their wording). Otherwise they (normally) invite you to re-apply for the platinum upgrade after another 25 articles.

Do they use this period to check whether you've spun any articles you've submitted to them? I haven't done much spinning, but I have created a couple of Squidoo lenses on same topic but different words as a couple of ezine articles. Am now worried in case this will stop me having further articles published with ezine.
