# Include both a full URL and an anchored text link - Why? Because if your article gets picked up by an ezine, there's no guarantee that your anchored text link will stay linked up. Putting the full URL somewhere in your article or resource box means that your readers will be able to find your website no matter what. How many anchor text links are allowed ? Where should we put them in the article ? # Include 2 self-serving links - We allow up to 2 self-serving links. Take advantage of that and use both! It makes no sense to include only 1. What are self serving links ?? How to put them in our articles ? # Include only self-serving active links - Simply put: Why would you want to give traffic away via your articles? Readers who click on non-self-serving links may never come back to your article. How to avoid this ???
Anchor Text should be inserted at your article's resource box. One anchor text per article's resource box only.
So do you put 2 anchor texts or just 1 anchor text for your resource boxes? Most people put 1 anchor text on EZA only.
It depends what you mean by "good enough". It's good enough to comply with their stated editorial guidelines, yes (the minimum length is only 250 words). On the other hand, it's not good enough to comply with their own strongly expressed preference (stated repeatedly on their blog) for articles of 400+ words. In reality, in my opinion they're more likely to reject 300-word articles than 400-word articles for "general error", "inadequately informative links" and "derivative content" because they look at them differently according to the length. They don't quite admit this, in so many words, but they come very close to it. But if you're writing real quality and providing value to their directory with the sort of articles that webmasters will re-publish, then you'll certainly be ok with 300 words. (I must admit, I wouldn't find that at all easy to do in 300 words, and I'm a professional writer, so I wish you good luck with it!).
. "Bulk" is not always the solution here. Try having quality not quantity. As Alexa_s said, 400 words (or longer) informative articles are more likely to be republished & provide even more traffic & seo benefits over the long term. Getting sales is not as easy as just submitting articles on EZA. There are tens of other guys submitting articles for the same keywords. I suggest you to submit one article a day & "maintain" all your articles. Now what's that? From "maintain" I mean, build links to your articles so as to rank them higher & don't allow any article to go below the first page for your keywords. Now there are several methods to do that & there are several "secrets" to do that the easy way. Not actually "secrets" but these are the things marketers don't share at all, even in the magical guides they sell on DP & WF.
