well gtech it reached the point were your responses are just too stupid to argue with

you win if it snows in texas in january then it must be colder everywhere in the world and global warming is obviously not occuring

Ferret, I'm curious why you moved to Florida, being it's supposed to bare the brunt of global warming (or so it's said)....? That and insurance companies are leaving that area because it's fiscally undesireable....rates are supposedly getting crazy in Florida.

Like I said earlier, in the presence of non-hurricanes in 2005 and wild/wicked winter being reported this winter, it's challenging for "climate alarmists" to explain the opposite effects of their "global" warming theories. I had no illusion that you would be able to do so.

why would I move here , the weather is great, the water is great

    I don't care about insurance, I rent

A condo on the water with a boat slip is like 700-800k here I would have to mortage my ass off to buy one, I just rent one

Even if you bought a place outright, you would still have to pay like $500 a month insurance and then who knows how much taxes

Also epa is predicting that it will take like 100 years for the sea to rise like 10 feet, I'll be dead by then

there were hurricanes they went up the center of the atlantic,as per the diagram I showed earlier, due to a weather system in the northeast

Globally its a mild winter , not wicked

You can pretend what I am saying is false but you would be wrong

None were landfall. But just a year earlier, "climate alarmists" were predicting even worse.

There's a lot of people in the midwest right now that would highly disagree with you. However, we're really just going round and round over weather. As to weather global warming is actually something real hasn't even been determined yet. There are arguments for both sides and I haven't seen anything to convince me one way or another. The nutjob that recently call for all AMS certifications to be cancelled for any meteorologist that denies global warming was an interesting stunt. It seems to have backfired on her considerably.

You don't get it, do you? You complain that the midwest getting snow/freezing temperatures doesn't mean anything, and that we need to look at the big picture of global temperatures. But at the same time you're referencing what's happening in a year or even a few years as being abnormal, when you need to look at thousands of years worth of data. And we all know we didn't have computer modeling thousands of years ago.

Its january, the middle of winter in the US

give me some links about the "wicked winter" I want to read about it

There are experts looking at thousands of years of data, thats where the whole idea came from.

Just because there wasn't computer modeling thousands of years back doesn't mean that there isn't data. Ever since the oldest surviving diary entry that includes a temperature taken with a mercury thermometer, there is data which can be incorporated into current analysis.

It will be interesting to see the language about global warming and climate change issues from the leadership of the Republican party over time in the future as more businesses change their tune and begin to address this concern.

I'd bet that the current administration skepticism on this issue was simply a response to its large corporate sponsors.

As the sponsors change their tune we will see over time if this administration changes its tune, its words, and actions.

Of course Bush referenced this issue in a state of the union speech for the first time this January.

Is that a coincidence with regard to large businesses as those referenced earlier that are acknowledging the issue?

I doubt it. But we will see over time.
