ha ha, yes I was wowed and then the depression quickly crept in. What is great though is that all of these entreprenuers are sole individuals that built their own empires from scratch. Age doesn't come into the equation, if you get that bright spark then go ahead and follow it through! Shows what is possible if you really push the boundaries!
Cool link, I didn't find it depressing, haha. Okay fine, a little. Because I'm not making millions of dollars from my website. But it let's you know, it's very well possible. As Ryan said, it shows you that same old cliche "you can do anything if you set your mind to it".
great blog post, awesome to read some young ones there, certainly gives hope and they are not depressing though, business is not sprint its a marathon you can take your time. I did the teenager thing when I was a teenager and now do the work when Its time to work so I am not depressed at all.
When i clicked on this link it ruined my day ... it made me feel like a failure..... then i looked at their photos and let out a sigh of relief
I guess thier the new role models for this entrepreneurial generation. I'd imagine that there were thousands of others in their age who tried and failed, these are the lucky few to make it big. I wouldn't get to depressed about it though only a few of all the 'webapreneurs' out there will earn the mega bucks, regardless of age, skill, gender ect. ROOFIS
I know the stories are more inspirational than depressing! I think what I mean by depressing is that a fair few of them managed to achieve the bulk of this when they were just 13 or 14 years old! Makes you realise just how competitive it all is... many experienced, skilled webmasters have been working over 10 years and are making small sums online and then some 14 year old makes a million of one single site! I have checked some of the sites out though and they are very good, so hats off to them.
Yep, I din't find that depressing, its more like encouraged me to be the best i can be with my website.
