I'm looking for a search engine script. I have been looking at both Extreme Search and Inout Search. Looking for some feedback on both scripts as in what one is better than the other or anything else available that I don't know about. Currently I'm using google adsense search and it seems to be doing quite well. Should I expect a revenue drop if using either of these scripts vs adsense search?
Are you looking for more like content related search or like e-commerce product search? Any search script works fine for content related search (like blog search). Since most likely content search does not require things like business rule, related items, "did you mean ..?" (auto correct) etc. For e-commerce product search you may need something more powerful like "Endeca". Enterprise grade search scripts give you ability to do things like A/B testing, automatic business rules for products customer may interested in, search by varieties of method, like product color, brand etc.
I have experience with both of these companies. Extremecorporate.com is easily the better company. The support is fast and the product will not break down on you every month. Inout actually wanted me to pay them money to fix a bug. Go with extremecorporate.com
