    Hello guys,

I'm concerned some of my videos has been extracted from my website. How are these people able to extract my video? How can I protect from this? For example YouTube videos cant be extracted/downloaded .

Thanks for your time and information.

    B

All videos, all Media can be Extracted and downloaded if they are hosted on your Server... there is a way to protect them by using a Streaming Servers... but it's too Expensive....

In short, it is not possible. You can only make it a bit more difficult for non-tech user by encoding the source, etc, but still it would possible to download it. Even if direct download wouldn't be possible, they could just take HyperCam and record screen.
I would suggest you to put a watermark on video and if someone reposts, contact with the owner of website or hosting provider for copyright violation. They are very likely to remove it. Even if they don't, the watermark will work as simple advertisement.

Hope that my post was helpful.
