Extract image from PSD?

I bought a template from TM http://www.templatemonster.com/demo/34531.html (you can click the "services" menu item to see the page I'm referring to)

That sliding menu is actually a graphic with vertical text, same text, three columns. In order to change that text, I sup-pose I need to "extract" that layer from the .psd of that page. The template did come with that page but I have no idea how to edit and then extract that image out of the .psd.

I'm using the CSS version of the template so the code is actually calling a premade graphic..... (hope that makes sense)

Will try to attach below in case my novice shop talk is confusing...

The kwicks-2.png file is one of the 'menu selections' - I need to extract that as a PSD so it can be editted at will.
The ps-3.jpg just shows the PSD file that I have to work with.

Thanks for any help in advance...!
