I'm gonna try to explain what I want to know with an example: I'm working on a site where people will be uploading large 7zip or winzip files. Let's say someone uploads a 20Mb 7zip file. Can the content of that 7zip be temporarely extracted on the ftp to create a winzip version of that content, and vise versa? Can the content of a zip file be temporarely extracted on the ftp to create a 7zip version of that content? The 7zip and winzip files would be hosted on a VPS server. Maybe there is a program or script I can install.
