Extract and collect e-mails from Gmail.How?

    Anyone know how to extract e-mails from gmail.I want to extract all e-mails and then save it to txt ,xls file.
    Or the another way.Activate pop3 in gmail then received via Outlook. and then extract e-mails from outlook.Anyone help ?

    We miht be needing a back-end script that will connect to gmail through pop3 and get the addressbook,

    Then, the gathered emails can be saved in either txt, csv, and Microsoft Excel XLS format.
