OK, I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I've been on this for days and cannot figure it out. The site is under development and the best way to ask this question is just to let you know the site name, etc. The site is www.hotpoconorentals.com Here is my question: If you look at the pics on the right hand side, where is the space above the pic coming from? I'm talking about the space between the pic and the text : "City goes here". My css file is named area.css and can be viewed right from my server. I have borders around some of the css items just for debugging purposes. The extra space is not coming from padding-top because I have already tried to set it to 0. Where is this space coming from? Thanks ahead of time Carl
In the css file you have a defined the <img> tag for #rightside. You have defined a top margin of 25px for all the images in rightside. #rightside img{ margin-top:25; } I don't know if you really need this style. But if you need this, you should create another class for the city image with margin-top:0;. That should fix this problem. By the Way, you also have defined a closing tag for <img>! An <img> tag does not need closing tag. There are a few tags which don't need a closing tag in simple HTML. Please read more about that. If you start coding Xhtml, there is another way to close an img tag <img src="" alt="" />. This is not related to the problem you had.
Thanks for the great help!!!! I wasted about 2 days on that silly little problem and can't believe I overlooked something like that. Thanks again!!
