Extra pages, when they could be compiled into one?

    Dear Users,

Your comments would be appreciated on this topic.

We have, at the moment, an article page, with another seperate page for user submitted comments.

From a SEO standpoint, would it be better to compile these two pages together? Thus, this would increase content on the original article page and all of the relevent content would be provided on one page, and would also improve PR dilution on the site.

    What are your suggestions?

    Thank you for your help.

From a site navigation perspective, it does not make sense to have a separate page for user comments. That is basically a blank page unless someone makes a comment. So, yes, combine them into one page.

I agree with Zeek. Unless you have comments on every post it does not make sense to have realms and realms of blank comment pages.
