Extra money google made by rounding off minimum bids

I have recently realized that google has rounded off all the minimum bids to the nearest value.

i.e a minimum bid of 8.71 is now showing 9

5.23 to 5.50 and so on


Just wondering how much extra money google's gonna make by doing that?

I think it should be a lot.

 

I haven't realised this. I don't think it'd be logical to round anyway. Maybe its just your bids..

 

I have 5 separate accounts for adwords and all of them show the same thing. So its just not me, many people might be experiencing it.

 

I just checked mine again...Nothing rounded in my account

 

I have all the accounts in Indian Rupee (INR) (currency), might be they did this just for India.

 

at least for me It always showed USD rounded - for example:

$5.00

$10.00

but in another currencies it always showed not rounded due it convert these exactly values from rounded Base dollar value:

$5.00 --> ₤2.65

$10.00 --> ₤5.31

 

yup, they did some changes today regarding nonUS currency bids.
