Extra costs when transferring domains? +rep for helpful answers.

    Hi,

    I recently found out that to transfer a .uk domain name you have to pay a nominet fee of £10 + VAT no matter which registrar you use.

    Are there any similar fees for transferring domains with other TLDs such as .info, .org, .net etc?

    No, there are usually no other fees when transferring with the same registrar. Most charge you a years fee but add the time to your registration.
