    Hi Friend,

i've some Below info about your Query :-

Google, Yahoo and MSN are all to be using the rel=nofollow tag, now the rel='external nofollow' is an incorrect version of the tag, that might be support by some but not all se's.

But the rel="nofollow" tag is 100% used by Google as they are the ones that developed it, if you are seeing a link back from Yahoo from a page with ref=nofollow on it, its probably due to Yahoo not updating the back links yet, but when they do revisit/update the backlinks this link will not be counted.,

Looking at the source, I see it's not the typical rel="nofollow", but instead rel="external nofollow". What's the scoop? I found this on the wordpress site

rel="external" = "This is an external link" (most are)
rel="nofollow" = "Do not catalogue this link"
rel="external nofollow" = "This is an external link, do not catalogue it."

    Best Regards,

    John

I see "nofollow" & "external nofollow" as the same thing... useful but then again doesn't help if your looking for external backlinks.
