If I have an external link pointing to a page from my site, does this link count as a BL to my site or only for that page ? P.S. I've tried to search about this but didn't found.
So, to understand it better. If i have let's say 100 IBL to my site in google. After i'll add a BL to an internal page I'll have 101 IBL to my site in google or not ?
The operator link for this way. link:www.domain.com can show you 1 link .... because you have ONE page linking to your DOMAIN. link:www.domain.com/some-file-here.html can show you 4 links .... because you have that many pages that link to this PARTICULAR page. Yahoo! has another very usefull search operand. That's linkdomain: . Google hasn't. In Yahoo! , for example, a search for : linkdomain:www.domain.com , will acumulate all inbound links to your domain, or to any other file in your domain. To continue the above example ... IT wil lshow you 1 + 4 links = 5 links . Got that Adi ?
Thanks expertu. One more question. It's better to have all IBLs to main page or have them pointing to different pages. The reason to have all IBL to one page is to gather more PR. But i think that IBLs to other pages with proper anchor text help to go up with that page in serps. So...wich way is better ? (te-am mai vazut pe aici ) (this is in romanian language and mean" "I've seen you around")
I try and point anchors/urls to the most relevant page. If you site is internally linked correctly, then PR will pass around the site without too much hastle. You'll benefit in more than 1 way imho - 1. better SERPs for individual pages (I think) and 2. you opposition can't check numbers IBL's as easily
+ and the gain from the internal pages will be fed back to the home + through to the other pages if built correctly.
