I was informed that many of the external harddisks sold in the market are compatible only with Windows.

Is there any specific brand of harddisk that is best for Apple Macbook Pro?

I think new external hard drive in the market with USB connection can connect to Apple computer. It will act like flashdisk.

I'm using common WD 160 GB external hard drive which compatible for windows and install Paragon NTFS for Mac in my MacBook, so it can read NTFS format. The reason is I usually use the external hard drive for files transfer and most of my clients are using windows, so if I'm using HFS Plus or Extended Journaled for my external hard drive, they can't read when I plug it to their computer.
