external dofollow is a external + dofollow
or maybe a dofollow which is external
when an external is dofollow it means your will loose your page rank :D

Suppose you are providing link to a website of other company from your blog. Then it will be considered as dofollow. The website will get some pr juice and you may loose it.

It's a regular link that points to someone else's Web site.

Why are you asking anyway? You should already KNOW this stuff.

It's just same as normal, link just it mentions that it is a external link and which is dofollow,

But generally we should not use it.

I haven't seen an 'external dofollow'. Infact I think the 'dofollow' is a valid attribute for HTML links. I guess you want to know about 'external nofollow' which is self explanatory. It's for lazy people who want to 'dofollow' the internal link but don't want to pass PR for external link.

Maybe he did confuse between 'external dofollow' and 'external nofollow'? I don't think the former is valid HTML syntax.

You mean 'external dofollow' is valid? Can you point to me to a reference?
