externail sales/auctions in BST?

Hi

I was just wondering if external auction links in the BST section are allowed or not? as I see quite a lot of threads with links to sedo,ebay & sometimes sitepoint auctions, especially in the domains section.

I find these rather annoying, they also seem to be confusing a lot of members, afterall the domain section in BST is for selling domains here on DP not for promoting threads/auctions on other sites.

Are these sort of threads allowed? just want to know so I know wheather to report them or not

Yes, they are allowed. It annoys me, but I never visit the Domains For Sale area

The ones that bug me are the eBay ones. A single link to an eBay auction - what use is that to anyone here?

 

Yes those ones annoy me the most too, a waste of an sql entry if you ask me lol
