Hi there, I was wondering if there was an extension out there that can pair profiles together for example; Picture a triangle, at the top point is current updates of information passing through the website by users and at the bottom left point is User A and bottom right is User B . Both users have profiles that require information under certain categories set by the website and when information comes through that matches both Users profiles they are sent automatic messages from the website. I understand that the information would have to be quite generic and subjective in order to be fully compatible and accurate matching.
Is it doable? Sure. But you have to write the program first. In English. One simple step at a time. Your description is about the equivalent of how to get to the ISS. "Blast off. Dock." But you don't have any device that can fly yet - it's 1902 in your description. Think it out. Create all the processes the site needs. (On paper. When you're forced to look at what you're inventing, you'll see where the nonsense is and throw it out.) Create the links between the processes. At that point some programmer can help you - at least to tell you how feasible it is. (For instance, if you end up with something like Facebook, and you expect someone to write the code in a week for $500, he'll be able to tell you how foolish you are. It can be done, but it'll take many months and tens of thousands of dollars.) Right now - you're not crazy, but you are asking people to read your mind.
