    Hi,

I have redesigned my website extensiveweb.com, so please review and give some suggestions about improving design or anything! Please watch out for grammar errors in pages and posts and tell me as English is not my primary language :)

    Thanks!

Well first off, good domain name!

    Now, suggestions:

    1. What is the big smiley face for? Doesn't really make much sense here. It would be better to utilise the space to showcase your portfolio.

    2. Actually, I just noticed that this is a featured area with carousel. I didn't notice at first. You may want to add prev/next arrows instead of just the text links below.

    3. The buttons on the bottom look rather strange with the blue on gray color scheme. Not a fan of the blue on gray scheme overall. It's worse yet on your blog since you use a light gray there.

    4. Portfolio is in flash, it took a while to load and showed an empty area at first. You should add a loading indicator.

    5. The about page doesn't really tell anything about you, the people behind the site.

Pretty cool website, definitely something new for me. The flow of the site is nice, but a tad slow for my liking when it comes to loading the demo images for your portfolio.

mm my bad i choosed flash based design as it was easy for me to update lol so i think i will have to go for some light weight solution. For showcasing portfolio on main page i am thinking about another area above latest blog posts and testimonials. Ahh i have to keep about page somewhat silent due to some reasons but will definitely update it in future.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

The fadey buttons at the bottom will continue to fade out and in if you move the mouse over them more than once. Like if I mouse over the play button and it starts to fade in, and then I mouse over it before it has finished its fade, it will go through the fadein/out one more time...to infinity.
I also think the fade out on mouse over is kind of a strange convention. It's clean though. Nice work

    Hey there,

Not bad! I like the colours and the simplicity of the design. I've never been a fan of big complex sites, they are just too much for the eyes to take in.

I think the only thing I would consider switching around would be the bottom buttons on the front page. They don't fit the style/feel of the site. Nice idea with the fading and the little node blurb above, but the way the images look just don't blend.

    Good work!

so that means i really have to reconsider my decision about these buttons, maybe change in colors or design may work.

    Thanks for reviews :)

Overall design is very good. It is simple, it is clear.

    Suggestions:
    - User are expected that the logo is clickable and will go back to the home page, but your logo does not do so.
    - In your portfolio page, can you use jquery light box plugin and gallery ( or something like that) rather than using flash? I guess using HTML is much better.
