What is the difference from http://www.digitalpoint.com and http://www.digitalpoint.com/? Which should be used when generating backlinks and submitting URLs? I know that, technically, there is no difference, but could a differential in submission variations have the same affect as submitting http://www.digitalpoint.com/ and http://digitalpoint.com? I'm just curious.

 

for backlinks it makes no difference

 

I suppose my question is then, which would be considered the "proper" form?
