I had a not so good experience with Expressbulk.com. I ordered the 4.9 million email drop rate. I even had a contest giving away an Xbox 360 Elite. I est. a 1% CTR so I was looking at a 49k people to hit the site over a week period. Not too bad of an estimation. Even at .5% thats still 24,500.
While they did focus the drops in the US, I question the delivery method:

507 hits vs 49k. Something was wrong so I looked at the referral path and saw that there was an inbox used for people to login. The email were never delivered to email addresses outside of expressbulk from my interpretation of this information. In addition, they never looked at the site outside of just the default page and the create user page, both of witch were in the email as a direct link. If emails were really being sent, I would expect to see a large amout of hits coming from sources outside of expressbulk like yahoo or msn free mail services or other email clients. I would not recommend them.

To end things on a good note. My personal blog blew up after Google Trends posted this on the offical blog:

    http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/its-all-about-today.html

It contained a link to my personal blog where I talk about how Google Trends could predict the 2008 Presidential Election.:

I have no idea where they found it but it taxed my server nicely..:) Sadly the same.. low conversion over to the rest of the site.
