Exposing your blog

hi, i just started a blog and i know this prob gets asked a lot but i couldnt really find any answers, how did you get your traffic coming in when you first started?

Exchange links with blogs of similar interests. Link to it in your signature in several forums.

 

Nice advice, have to push by yourself. I think exchange links with other similar blogs would be a nice way to promote it.

 

I already had my baby website when I started my blogs. Every page has a PR 3 and I've linked to my blogs from every page where I list all my links at the bottom. This seemed to work really well cause I got traffic from MSN within a day.

Of course this wouldn't work if you don't have a website already, but if you do you should definintely try it.

 

That is a good idea especialyl if you site is trafficked a lot by the SEs

But like everyone else said, just make sure that you have lots of links everywhere. If you don't have time to submit to directories yourself use one of the many directory submission services I personally like DP's own Tuning's

 

just set up a wordpress blog for my site, can`t find any
easy to follow instruction how to ad whatever feeder RSS
necessary. Any help appreciated

 

already managed most of it in the last few minutes,
next question rss, rss2, or atom?
feedburner wants to know which one to use

Traffic takes time!!!!If you expect immediate traffic, you will probably be disappointed.
