Exporting layers in Fireworks

Wondering if someone could help me with a seemingly simple problem:

I want to import a Photoshop PSD into Fireworks and simply export all layers as PNG files. At the moment I have to manually export them one by one using the 'export wizard' in Fireworks, but I would like to just load my PNG8 settings, specifiy an output director and export all layers.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks,
    marv.

    Go to 'Export...'
in the Export menu below the file name.. select 'Layers to Files'
Hope that is what you are looking for.

It works, but i haven't figured out how to export PNGs. It exports in JPGs.

Layers in FW are not same as Layers in PS.
Layers in FW are the different Folders...
