This is probably not the best place to ask, but I'm hoping someone here has done this... We aretransitioning a VISP from thier current provider to us. The current provider is using Emerald. The current provider is claiming that providing the VISP's customer data is going to be a "involved" process. Being unfamiliar with Emerald, does anyone know what is involved in "Exporting" customer data from Emerald? I know with Optigold, it is a pretty simple task...I can't imagine it being much more difficult with any other billing application. Thanks!
Well...Unfortunately, the current provider is not playing nicely, and we don't have direct access to the data. I guess what I was looking for was something to refute thier claim of how difficult/time intensive it was for them to provide it... Emerald's manuals don't even mention exporting data...I guess migrating away from their product is not something they feel people will ever do.
