Export Corel Draw X4 file to Photoshop

    Please let me know can I open a "Corel Draw X4" file in Photo shop?

    You can't open a .cdr with Photoshop, since a CDR file is fully vector. The best way is to export it from Corel into an EPS or PDF then open them up in Photoshop. It won't be vector format as in Corel Draw, but it's pretty good :)

    No can do...

    You'll need Corel Draw to sav as .pdf or .eps or a picture format .jpg .tiff .gif

    Note.
    Corel Draw is a vector graphic program while PS is a pixel graphic program (although it has some vector support). You might not get the result you want.

    The layers will be in an eps or pdf file but I'm not sure PS will manage to open them without a hitch. I've opened a lot of files created in Corel in Illustrator and transparencies is sometimes messed up.
