I would get a cab right about now. My brother and his wife are in London right now and should be flying out tomorrow. I have been able to txt him and they are OK. Hope all of you find your friends soon.
firstly .. blessings to those who have family in the area and who work in the area my take on this people mention the G8 however, the focus on London after winning the bid was of even greater significance. a G8 meeting is a G8 meeting however winning the London bid everything about the city is highlighted to me, whoever is behind this are able to send a message of their ability. If the intention was to kill, one or two bombs would have done this
It's not just any G8 meeting though is it... Anyway, all this speculation is BS... Let's wait until we KNOW.
Euronews says three buses and five train stations hit. Transport system completely closed, there are fears that there are more to come. 2 cofirmed dead, 90 injured. Cell phone network jammed (so if you are not getting through to loved ones, it is likely to be the cause of the network) Vodaphone says emergency services are being given priority access to the mobile phone network. Most likely a terrorist attack and no prior warnings were given.
This is really sad news! My thoughts go to the victims of these bombs. My cousin is going down to London on the 10th and is supposed to be staying at a place near Kings Cross. Do you think everything will be running again by that time?
Thanks Oliver, she's a big wig at the Brompton Hospital and I imagine right now she's got more than enough on her plate without me adding to it. She'll get to us in time. I'm sure she knows where her husband is too and either would have called if there was bad news. My other sister, her husband and 2 kids are visiting, they'd already left for the day to go - ummm where? and they are more of a problem. Hopefully they're overnighting well away. My sister in law and her 3 kids have managed to phone home so that's good. Now, I've just got to check up on my friends... Sarah
On this video a 16 year old girl doing work placement in Soho was told to take the bus home. She didn't and apparently that one above was her bus home...
If you need any help, let me know Jesus... This is really scary. I hope the whole of DP and their friends are ok... Along with everyone else in london.
They aren't the only ones...They "admit" to everything that goes wrong. I believe the correct term however would be "Claim Responsibility"
Link? Things I've heard from PEOPLE not reliable websites, but: Apparently they shot a suicide bomber in the Docklands aswell They have evacuated Rothesay bay train station in auckland
