My 2 cents.
GTech is a great person probably one of the best around DP forum, but in my opinion you should have asked in before you made the design.
If it was me I would be pissed off, because now he loses the original design, lots of sites will look like dirmoz.
I think you should put a link to Dirmoz on the template for example (based on the original design of Dirmoz), that is my opinion.
But I must admit you did a great job, probably better than the original.

I cant get to the demo, but I do have an opinion here.

I know people get really upset about ripping another design. Fortunately, Gtech is a great guy and seen it exactly the way he should.

I do a great deal of templates for phpLD. I get loads of requests to copy another's design,(Usually dirmoz) but I try to persuade them against it. In the end, most clients will do something unique. However, let's face it. There are only so many ways a directory can be done. Sooner or later, they all sorta look alike.

If someone copies a layout, or a design, but DOES NOT copy the code, then I think GTech is right on track. Take it as a compliment.

They say the best form of flattery is for someone to mimic what you have done.

As an example. My phpLD forum name is Optimit. Steve even named his directory after me. I didnt get upset at all. In fact,I take it as a compliment. j/k HAHAHAHAH
