Hi all. I'm new to CJ and I have a question regarding Ebay stats in CJ. I've noticed that many other people have had questions about Ebay stats in CJ in other posts. I was hoping that a CJ-Ebay veteran could clarify some of these things for myself and anyone else who might have questions as well. First I have to say that after having absolutely 0 success with just about every other affiliate program, the Ebay one has been showing a lot of promise. I get 2500 to 3000 unique visits to my website per day, and the most clicks I ever got in a day with any other affiliate program was about 6. I've gotten as many as 460 in one day with Ebay, and I've gotten some sales and leads, too. So if you're looking for a good affiliate program to join I'd highly recommend Ebay. And now to the question. First, I'm aware that Ebay has to batch before any of the sales/leads you made with them will showup in your stats. I'm also aware that they generally only batch once a day, but not always, and don't batch at any particular time. Here's what confuses me. I'll make this as brief as possible. Saturday: 120 clicks for Ebay, but no sales/leads. Sunday morning: $25.00 account balance, stats showing 2 leads, one paying, on Sunday's stats after Ebay batched early Sunday morning. Monday morning: stats show 460 clicks for Ebay for Sunday, but Ebay hadn't batched yet. Monday at 12:00 PST: Ebay has batched, but no more sales/leads in stats and account balance the same. Monday at about 4:00 PST: About 4 hours after Ebay has batched a sale shows up for Saturday, but no more sales/leads from Ebay. Meanwhile I notice that my CJ stats overall seem to update about every hour, but seem a good 4 hours or so behind. I know this because after making changes with ads (i.e., placing new adds), I don't see impressions for these ads for generally 4 hours or longer, though I do notice my stats updating. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what's going on here. And is it possible after getting 120 clicks on day and getting two leads that I could get 460 another day and get no leads? Thanks, Gregg
yes, it is possible, and it is possible that they just summed up 2 batches together. some people dont follow through when they see that your not the actuall party selling the product and you send them to ebay. good luck!
