    Just a few days ago Twitter was a complete enigma to me. I had no idea why people would waste their time tweeting a bunch of nonsense back and forth. I though, "Twitter BFD, just another time waster." Wrong!

    Someone tweeted a post of mine and a light went off in my head. This could be better than StumbleUpon. Don't think about it, just sign up, you won't understand it till you do.

    twitter's one of those sites I've looked at for about 15 seconds and never went back to. Now, I'm hearing it has good potential for advertising.

    I felt exactly the same way. It's a whole different ballgame once you sign up and just get into it. Kind of like the title of this thread says...it's a bit hard to explain why it works the way it does.

    i have been hearing about Twitter a lot these days and most of the time i see people saying its a total waste of time. i guess how you use it and how much time you spend on it make a difference. might take a look into it :)

    Probably won't do much for seo, but if you get lots of people to follow you, you will end up getting traffic from that. You can tinyurl your blog posts in your tweets and that will bring you traffic.
