When you are selling different SEO packages to a business owner, how would YOU personally explain SEO to sell them on certain levels of SEO packages that YOU might offer? I am just trying to get a general idea on how to have them understand how vital it is and how important it will help out their business. Thanks for any support in this thread!
This is truly a tricky one but the easiest way to explain it would be like putting an add on a very popular tv show except that people would be actively looking for a product. You could also explain it as offering a very attractive add on car sales to someone who walks into a car dealership. Hope this helps.
I tend to put them in the frame of mind of their customers and get them searching Google for their services. seeing their competitors there instead of them is usually sobering enough. if theyre still not biting then I'd use the "take it away from them" and say well we only want to work with people who understand the value of this, so no worries.." and show them a search or two we do well in so, not to worry as SEO is working for us, if they dont need our services, there will be plenty more (and possibly their competitors) along very shortly.. be confident, it's their loss.
Put an analogy that with your highest priced SEO package, you are showing their products to the busiest place in a mall.
